Job description

¥°. Job title : English teacher

¥±. Employer : Foreign Language Institute or A school.

¥². Contract term :

     One year contract ( 12 months)+ option for renewal  

¥³. Schedule :    

    1. The number of regular teaching hours will be 130hours per month.(30 hours per week)

    2. Class will be held from  Monday to Friday.  

    3. Class and teaching are scheduled in accordance with the needs of the Institute; however,
        resonable efforts will be made to accommodate Employee's requests.  

    4. Employee may not accept any work not assigned by Institute.

¥´. salary    

     Employer will pay a monthly salary of 2.0 million to 2.8 million won (Korean currency) to
     Employee

¥µ.  Over time pay :

      Overtime rate for the each hour worked over and above 130hours per month is £Ü18,000 to
      £Ü23,000 per hour.

¥¶.  Bonus :

     On completion of 1 year contract, Employee will receive the amount of one month salary as
     a bonus.

¥·.  Income tax :

      3¢¦6% of Korean income tax will be withheld during your residence in Korea.

¥¸.  Airfare

      Employer agree to provide Employee a round trip ticket to Korea. However, in the event the       Employee fails to complete  the  full contract term, Employee agree to reimburse Employer the       cost of the said airfare.

¥¹. Insurance

     A medical  and  accident  insurance  plan  from  an  insurance  company  or  Korean
     government  will  be offered to the instructor. Employer further agrees to pay 50% of the      monthly premium. Employee is responsible for the other 50%, and  Employee's portion of the      monthly premium is made through deduction from salary. Dental and pre-existing conditions      are not included.

XI. Holidays :

    1.There are 13¢¦15 Korean holidays per year. Employee is not required to work on these days.

    2. Employee is permitted al least ten days of paid leave per year.

Xll. Accommodation

    1. Employer agrees to provide housing for Employee.

    2. Employee  is  not  responsible for the payment of  the rent,  but  Employee  is responsible
        for paying his share of the utilities.

    3. housing will be provided in one of the following manners:     

      * A private apartment house.

      * A private room in an apartment house shared with other teacher(s)

      * A private officetel shared with other teacher(s)

      * A private officetel

      * A private room at the home of the employer
